Please stop recommending Tunnelbear. Just because they pay Linus to make ads for them doesn't mean they are good. Hell, they even block torrents. Their refund policy is non-existing as well.

OP, I recommend Private Internet Access, or any other VPN service which had good answers to TorrentFreak's annual VPN roundup.

Agree completely with @LAwLz... I use PIA pretty much all the time now, except on sites that realise you're on a VPN and don't like it (paypal). They actually blocked my partner's account becuase of using a VPN when logging in.

$39 a year is no big deal to most people, especially for a great service.

I do recommend Private Internet Access, it is paid however, you can't really find a really good VPN for free, the result will speak for itself.

If you don't want it then you can just use Tor, it's way slower however.

PIA (Private Internet Access) has been the best VPN I've found. I've used plenty of other VPNs such as StrongVPN (enforces DMCA), IPVanish, TorGuard, and HMA (Hide My Ass). Despite almost every provider offering servers in New York/New Jersey... Only PIA was able to provide a consistent service with minimal packet loss. The lowest latency route from my ISP would be Boston, MA, however I get a slightly higher ping to New York/New Jersey. Despite that, PIA still provides me with solid speeds. They're a solid VPN provider. Your results may (and will) vary.
