If you can stretch your budget with €50, you can get a OnePlus 3 which is the best phone for that price, period.

If not, you can always buy a OnePlus 2 or a Nexus 5X, however keep in mind that the Nexus does have some issues concerning overheating and extreme battery drain.

got mine last year when they stopped the invite system, love the sandstone cover but for a higher livespan its good to add a silicon cover to prevent drop-damage but most girls get flip covers and carry them in their handbags

they come with a preinstalled display foil/cover ( mine got no scratch after a year )

as with any other devices if you treat them good they last long

gestures are handy   ( drawing a V for light, O for cam  or > to skip songs etc )

batterylife is good with up to 4hour display time in full use, but if you dont use both SIM it should last a bit longer ;)

currently the beta for android nougat are running, hopefully they release it soon

never had any issues with the software and i give mine to my SO for the same reason as you this winter         and uhm... to get myself the OP3t

the snapdragon 810 gets a bit warm in full use but thats no big issue
