i want to paint my hyper x ram, gigabyte mobo head spreader and my sapphire gpu. Will doing this void my warranty?

Plastri-dip will work you will want to ideally take off the heat spreaders or mask them off before painting mainly the contacts and parts of the PCB. Just be sure to not paint any fans or such like on the GPU with plasti-dip. If you need I have a general outline of all of this under the Modding FAQ:
