Need help with ssd

I bought an M.2 drive for my computer for the higher speeds and for more storage. I bring it to the local repair man to have the data from my disk c ssd to the new m.2 drive. he is saying thatry motherboard and m.2 are incompatible due one thing about mSata. if this true

sounds to me like that "repair man" is talking out his ass to get some more money

No I think my gpu is blocking where it's supposed to go and he didntk5okofofkr see it just wanted to check here first
