CPU cooler noise/rattling

Hi all,

recently I've been hearing some noise or rattling from my CPU cooler, a 3 year old Corsair H100i. The noise is coming from the pump unit(?) on the CPU itself, and I've recorded a video for you so you can have a listen and judge for yourself (might have to turn up your volume a little bit).

My question is this, what is this? Is my cooler dying or what?

Could be that your pump is dying, but are you positive its coming from the cpu block? It sounds more like a fan to me

I'd say fairly sure, my first thought was that my HDD was dying as this is the sound was reminiscent of the sound old computer HDDs made back in the days of my youth, so obviously I put my entire head inside the case to try to locate the sound, and it was strongest at the pump (although the radiator with fans are mounted just above).
