IOS recommended apps/alternatives

Waddup lads.

Coming from an I-Phone 4s (Was being very stubborn and was hoping i'd be confident enough in smartwatches by now to live out my dream of being an edgelord, Dick Tracy style, in public. Close, but smartwatches still need more work) and i have just recently upgraded to an I-Phone 7.

What apps and alternatives do you recommend and/or use?

I know about Evernote vs. IOS Notes

I know about Microsoft Outlook vs. IOS Mail

Google Maps vs. IOS Maps

etc.

Things of that nature where i can improve my experience as an IOS user. (What camera app should i be using, what calendar, etc.)

One note. It's currently my most used app. Such a massive change from what was available on android. Also use google keep for quick notes. What i've been looking for is a voice recorder I could activate from the lock screen for quick voice notes.As far as anything else, i've just been using what i've been using on android, with the exception of 2 or 3 apps.
