Budget gaming laptop

So I'm planning on getting a laptop for gaming and for school. i've been looking around, and the best one I found for the buck is a Dell 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop (6th Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-6300HQ Processor up to 3.2GHz, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M, Windows 10) do you guys have any opinions?

Wow really? seems pretty good to me. what are your subjects in school that you will be using this laptop in? will there be any editing / photo editing

Just high School stuff lol, stuff like notes mostly and i like to make music so ill probably be making music on it also!

i'd take it my dude, seems worthy of its price. BUT there is this one i found for 100 extra $ if you could afford it which would really put more bang into buck.

twice the size of the ssd

8gb of ddr4 ram instead of ddr3

 

so really if you have the money this would be a better choice.

Basically same laptop (spec wise but has DDR4 RAM) just another option you can choice from at the same price point.

You also get a free 2.5'' drive slot to add in another HHD/SSD in future upgrades. Also, it comes with 8GB in the deal but if you want to pay another $38 you can get 16gb.. or just save the money and add the second stick later on.

Specs aren't everything, the Inspiron's battery life and build quality are best-in-class and it has a mass-storage HDD unlike this ASUS. 

the one the op linked had a 256 gb ssd in it. and i was only giving him more options if he really felt like he needed it
