1.      "what ought to be stressed in conclusion is that the very structure of the self can be seen in terms of how we arrange for such performances in our Anglo-American society.”  Besides the racism present in this quote, with the assumption that only white people evaluate presentation of self, what is Goffman saying?

This is one of the questions on my sociology worksheet. I fail to see how this is in anyway Racist. I also fail to see where Goffman said only white people could evaluate presentation of self. Maybe it's just me but if you can spot the RACISM please tell me so I can write bs about it and get a good grade in a class about non sense.
