Fan undervolting

Say I want to undervolt my case fans from 12v to 5v by switching the wires in the molex connector. The molex connector is attached to the sata cable which powers some case LEDs and a hard drive. Will undervolting my fans affect the voltage of other devices?

Effects are only for devices connected to what is end of molex. Rest stuff connected to same main power cable and with their own power connectors will remain. If you don't understand my meaning, or I have understood wrong what you mean, please hint me so I can draw pic about it.
