Which 1 should I do. All my needs fit into the first one, but should i sacrifice overclocking for more future proofness?

I can already tell you you don't need that many fans :P

Keep the ones you already have. That Antec PSU will do you great.

You don't really need an i5 if it's just for gaming on an R9 270X. Grab an i3-6100 and put the saved money into an SSD. Also don't need that much RAM.

A lot of the saved money can also go into a new graphics card. For $170 an RX 470 is the best value right now.

Don't get a Z170 motherboard for a cheap CPU unless you intend on overclocking it using very special dark magic (if you know how, go right ahead :))

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

@Implosivetech the parts you marked as $0 in your pcpartpicker, do you already have those, or?

also the build I gave you, the case can be replaced with the thermaltake that you seemed to like

Yeah. Everything but the fans. Those I just wanted to condense the total price onto one fan, but the psu, and gpu I got for free

UPDATE: If i can afford the sky lake system, i will be getting an i5-3570k and mobo instead of the 2500k and mobo. Nothing else will change. Also, I'm keeping the fans, just for the dos. ;)
