Ram help

Okay so I have an asus x99 ii mobo and I'm trying to get new sticks of ram now I'm going with dominator platinum but should I got with 4x4 or 4x8 because I don't know much about ram and I know 4x4 is cheaper but they both run at 3200 MHz so do i really need the 32g or is 16g good.

lmao 32 GB is overkill. I doubt any application will fully utilize 32 GB of ram. also why dominator ram? its like $200 for 16 GB which is shit-expensive.

just go with 16 gigabytes, if you truly needed 32, you'd know that and wouldn't be asking the community.

4x4 value RAM is all you need. Get the cheepest RAM that matches your theme visually (if you care). $80-$100USD.
