I followed the steps shown in this guide exactly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/development/recovery-twrp-oneplus-3t-t3507308

Except for step 9 where it says to install supersu as the guide I was following at the time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rew7UvfkCCo

said to clear the cache before rebooting the system so I did that. I also did not install "dm-verity and forced encryption disabler" and my op3t has now been playing the little boot animation circle for 30 minutes.

I also used the supersu beta linked in his youtube vid:
https://download.chainfire.eu/740/supersu/

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get my phone working again?

I made a backup.ap of my phone before starting in adb if that helps.

I'd maybe ask this on the oneplus forums as well if you haven't already.

I just found out I can get into fastboot! Hopefully I can flash an image my backup or install an sdk or something and fix it.

Fixed it! Just went into fastboot and reflashed twrp then installed the non-beta supersu and the "dm-verity and forced encryption disabler" zip and everything works perfectly now!
