So I recently got a 1200w thermaltake psu foR my new pc build. it is the one that has no power switch and tons of bad reviews..... which I found out later on... so it works fine and has extra long cables which is great for my big case. but I'm already starting to see quality issues.... the 24 pin connector has a bad quality build and now sometime when I plug in the pc it won't power on.... I give the connector a gentle push and it immediately powers up... if I close the case and move nothing it's fine but if I do anything in the case it will randomly shut off..... can I fix the connector somhow ?

I looked it up after I bought it and there are hundreds of horrible reviews.... only like a mounth ago. it works fine but if that connector gets bumped it loses a connection and the pc powers off. give the connector a push and ur back online

The main power connectors aren't modular. the connector is fully seated and in well.... they also cheapedo out on wire so some of the wires on the connector are smaller  than others. usually there good yes...but considering there's no power switch... and hundreds of bad reviews...I had little hope.

I'd check the link in my signature.  The people over there know their stuff and can guide you in what to do about it, and indicate which ones you should be looking at for replacements :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I must ask .... since i did my new build any time my gpus are under load it sends a ton of audio noise through my speakers...like just a screaming noise when they hit max load. So basically any time i run anything like boinc or folding that uses 100% or near it. Would this be generated from the psu or from somthing weird on the board? it can be any devices weather its connected through usb audio or direct. its a brand new setup with no noticable issues besides the connector and this noise
