The Monitor aside, it looks great.

With a PC like that, 1440p IPS 144hz Gsync is a must. But thats just me ;)

Imo 1440p 60 Hz or 1080p 144 Hz is the sweetspot for a 1070. 144 Hz 1440p is more 1080 territory, but I guess I don't have much to say, as I haven't tried anything above 1080p 60 Hz.

980ti 1440p 90-120fps in 80% of all AAA Titles maxed out (not AA of course). The 1070 can handle it just fine.

Just to add something more. I switched from 60hz 1080p to 144hz 1440p. And Boy that was an experience i will not forget anytime soon. If you have the Money, go for it. Its fucking awesome.
