MSI Z97 Gaming 3 + I7 4790 ; which BIOS version is compatible?

Ryan.G

Hello community

This time I have a problem on my PC. My PC keeps BSOD when I use like 2-3 hours. It keeps buzzing me.

If you want to check whats the problem I'm facing at, here 12 minidump files that I compressed it into .rar file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6pnQIZyvAzyNU4ydmgzN1NZa0U

I asked this to microsoft community, and someone answered that my problem is BIOS version (v2.1) I'm using is outdated.

Update your Intel Rapid Storage Technology SATA RAID Controller driver.

Support For Z97 GAMING 3.

So... I heard some people said, i7 4790 don't need to update the BIOS to v2.1. But, when I bought this motherboard, it's already updated to v2.1. The point is should I downgrade the BIOS or there's any solution about my problem.

And how I update my Intel Rapid Storage?

PS : Sorry for my grammar

Regards

Ryan G.

Well basicly its a Z97 board so it comes with support for Devils canyon out of the box.

However if there is a newer bios version available for your board, (check Msi's website) then you could allways update to that, and see if it fixes any problems.

But i personally assume that your issue might not be bios related.

But driver related.

Yeah it's about driver things. Because I tried to scan it with Driver Easy and Intel Driver Utility, result is my most driver is outdated. For now there no BSOD anymore.
