OBS stops streaming

Hey guys I have OBS streaming 24/7 on my mac and its happened many times that it stops streaming... the stream just goes offline but on OBS it still has the option to stop streaming my download speed is 100MBPS and upload is 12MBPS I have it connected with ethernet cable so I dont think thats the problem why does it keep stopping???

streaming to where exactly, and how long exactly?

 

and there's a few things that can be the issue:

- if you're also locally recording, it can be that the disk is full, or that you've reached the maximul file size for a single file

- the streaming service disconnecting you after a stupidly long stream (this'd be for example if it's always disconnecting after 7 days)

- an issue on the way between you and the streaming service causing a brief disconnect making the stream drop.

I stream on youtube and I see people that have been streaming for 2 months none stop
