Cpu powered PC

Hello,

I am planning a mini PC that I can vesa mount to the back of a monitor for my mom. She uses the PC mainly for work (accounting), some medium multitasking, firing up some programs and mainly switching between multiple programs.

 

What I am thinking about is either intel nuc or asrock minidesk powered by 6500 with 16gigs of sodimm ddr4 ram and m.2 dirve to go with. Really as simple as it gets.

What I am wondering though is, if it would run 3440x1440 monitor, as it would include no dedicated graphics card. And what the performance would be if I was to play video on native resolution on it and run CSGO/LoL or some other non demanding titles.

 

Price is not really the issue, I'm fine with going up for 6700k, my main objectives are Silence>Performance>Practicality>Looks

Case I'm thinking about so far is AsRock minidesk so there is a headroom for a nice cooler, though I would only sacrifice silence for major performance gain.

Had to go with a T version to lower power consumption enough for the small psu. You can add another 8gb stick if needed. 

intel hd 530 are ok

The question I need answered though is what CPU would be sufficient to handle 3440*1440 with medium-high load

please quote me next time. It can drive 4k so yeah it can run videos or play very light games at that resolution but for gaming I would recommend you turn down the resolution
