windows 10 new pc

Hi, I'm going to build a new PC but I'm confused on how the licensing works. I read that you need to buy the OEM key the same day as the PC parts, is that true or I just need to have windows 10 ISO and a valid OEM key?

no thats a lie you just need to have an iso (dvd or usb either one) and a valid key whether it be oem or retail, there isnt much difference

OEM is meant to new computers and system builders. There's no limitation when its bought. Just keep in mind that OEM is cheaper and will lock to mobo when activated. For long term use, its better to pay for retail.
