I've been in abit of a locked state at the moment, i'm looking at a Computer upgrade for 1 or 2 parts that may be bottle necking, so far i've been told it's my CPU/GPU i play CPU intensive games like Planetside 2 and ARMA.

Any help at all would be appreciated i know i can trust this community to provide awesome help every time :)

I can't see a bottleneck with the hardware you have now.

So if you want to upgrade there's two options, you can upgrade one part at time or save and build a whole new rig.

I advice against buying one part at a time because what ever you buy first will be bottle necked by the rest of the system until every other part is upgraded. And If you don't have enough money to buy everything at once then by the time you've replaced the last part, the first part you upgraded will probs be out dated.

Just my advice if you have the patience.

I agree with ^above^.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

do as heineygoat says, and save up the money to build a complete rig, I have upgraded my pc step by step, and it's totally not worth it, you end up spending loads on parts that will always bottleneck each other, like now I have just bought a SSD and my motherboard only runs SATA 3gb/s instead of 6gb/s so it's not even running at half speed :-(

just save up some money and the sell what ever you have now like the mother board and the CPU and the GPU, put all that money to build a new system with all new parts. but there is no problem bringing stuff like the PSU, HDD, SSD, Coolers, case from the old build. if the still work.

cheers

Ahh I see you mentioned amra. are you refering to arma III. you do realize thats its in in alpha stage. They will fix the lag issue from arma 3. I have gtx 570 and a amd x6 1100t and i get max 30 fps. and these specs pretty decent. which actually goes up and above the system requirement. I think Arma 3 favors quad core and dual core at the moment. It will be fix down the road. im sure of it. now as for planet side your phu isnt the best out there.so dont go playing games on max settings possibly medium high. if you wanna go ultra get a 7870 or 7850. 7850 isnt a bad card. its cheaper to if your on budget below 200! Not only that you can always sell ya 7750 proably get 80-100 for it something like that! so not a total loss for better upgrade. so next upgrade be like not more than 100 bucks

also for cpu upgrade i suggest at least a fx6100 and above. for me id just buy top end stuff. XD lol thats just me. Id get a amd 8350 plus a 660ti

Amd fx-8320 oc 4.1ghz, 8gb ram, gtx 780ti 3gb, 240gb ssd, 1.5tb hdd,
