Truly Custom

AK0490

Here are some pictures of my computer as it currently stands, of course it is never truly finished!

This is why I will never build another case -- the side panels

The holes are all countersunk so the heads sit flush

I owned a 6870 when I built the case, when I went to upgrade recently I had to find the shortest 7970 I could and it just fit.

Side panel off, the bottom is kept separate from the motherboard compartment and the heat from the hard drives and cpu cooler is taken care of in the bottom

While it was being built. Over 30ft of 1in angle iron was used

Great job! Can't begin to imagine the work that must have gone into this. I hope you make it on to the live stream with this!

Thanks a lot. Many hours were spend in the garage trying to figure out how it was all going to work. There are no plans or drawings, it was all done on the fly. The side panels took a lot of work and all the trim pieces were made for specific locations and are not interchangeable.

The stand is indeed made of metal but I wouldn't drive my car over a bridge made of it.
