Just now, MANIDY inc said:

well give us more info, is it after you been in a game for awhile, is it right when you click play, is it every game or just one game.

Happened 3 times, twice in CS GO, once in Metro Last Light redux, tends to happen around 3 hours in game, I have temps up in the corner, CPU stays under 40, GPU under 65 in metro, (30cpu/45gpu in cs), nothing is overclocked.

My best guess is the power supply. Is it a reputable brand or something cheap? Could be a blown cap. You wouldn't necessarily notice it unless pushing it close to its max wattage. Have you upgraded anything recently that would add some power consumption?

EVGA G2 650W so very reputable (payed 85 euro for it so it ain't cheap), it's a new pc , made it around 3 weeks ago, http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator according to this website it shouldn't use more than 400w

Just instantly resets? No blue screen or anything? It could be a bad RAM stick or DIMM slot but that would nearly certainly present with a BSOD rather than instant reset.  Still, running memtest86 couldn't hurt.

Does the computer reset during a stress test?

This REALLY sounds like a power supply issue, even the most reputable brands can have defective units I suppose. If you can, try setting up your phone (at lowest res) or your webcam to film your PSU's fan as you game. If the fan stops turning when it resets than its total power loss to the computer, i.e. the power supplies fault.

Do you have an Event ID 41 Kernel-Power in your Event Logs?

I maintain PSU as the problem. Do you have a friend who's PSU you could borrow?

I do but only for a few hours at most and the problem only happens rarely so how to I diagnose it porperbly

Using your current PSU, run Prime95 and FurMark simutaniously. This will push your GPU and CPU harder than pretty much any game will. Leave this running. If gaming is causing your computer to crash, this should do the same and faster. If you can repeatedly get it to crash this way, get your buddies PSU, do the swap, and see if it crashes on that PSU.
