I have a moto G3 with 1gb of ram. In the last few months it has been freezing and crashing randomly. I have figured out that it is because 887mb of my 1gb of ram is being used up. The heaviest user of ram is the operationing system. Is there anyway I can make it take up less without restarting my phone every 20 mins.

Thank you

Have you considered deleting some ram intensive apps? Or possibly delete some preinstalled bloatware from your carrier?
