The performance of a non-overclocked 6850K, yes, but I assume you're going to overclock either one so not really.

Do you need the extra PCI-E lanes? Are you a content creator or 3D rendering (Anything very CPU intensive). What will you do with your PC?

And you dont need the extra PCIE lanes? If not, the 6800K is better value (Obviously the 6850K is still slightly faster though).
