I'm very new to the idea of a NAS, and I've only known what it is for about a week. I want to know more about what RAID configuration would be good for 4 to 5 drives, what hard drives to use (I read that Western Digital Red drives are a great choice), whether or not I should buy a NAS box, or build my own, etc.
