Question about 1060's

At least the card doesn't have a SLI finger. The guys at galax must be wizards then.

Is this just poor titling of a product or is it possible that this third party manufacturer added SLI capabilities?

 

Theoretically the OEMs could put SLI fingers on the card, but Nvidia would probably stop sending them GPU chips. This is probably a misprint in translation because Galax is a company in Asia.

Yea, it just seems like they are selling two cards together. SLI is not supported by Nvidia at all on the 1060.

SLI is not supported on 1060s so they are truly wrong there. But there is a way to get two cards to work together (I think) without a bridge and maybe even AMD/Nvidia cards working together.

 

 

In this video Luke talks about two different modes that sound like it could make two non compatible cards work together.  Watched the video a while ago and don't remember the specifics so I suggest you watch.

It's 1060s, not 1060's.

 

Plural is not made with apostrophe, ever.

I wrote a message to the website admins telling them that 1060 doesn't support SLI.

 

They changed the product description to a 2-card-bundle rather than an SLI bundle.
