Hey guys

I went on a 2 week trip and came back yesterday, tuned on my PC and it worked fine (just as it had before the trip)

Then I put it to sleep as I normally do and when I turned it on this morning every 5 seconds or so there is a 1 second of "screen lag" Most noticeable in the mouse, it will go smooth then jagged (I'm sure you know what I mean)

Any help? I'm working on updating the graphic card now (GTX 980 ti) and I have tried to restart a few times.

I'm assuming your issue is sporadic lag,  not Spartic? You're not getting kicked in the chest every five seconds are you?

See what tasks you are running. It could be that your PC is trying to update and virus scan everything since it's been  off.

Also, check Event Viewer to see if anything is coming up.
