I am running out space like no tomorrow on my SSD. started at 120 gbs and now I am literally down to my last 10. I have no idea what I can delete and I can't. To start off, every time I update my graphics drivers it gets filled up, every time a game patches, it gets filled up, and stuff accumulates overtime and I have no idea what to do at this point. I planned to get a new SSD but my mobo only have two sata ports. Should I just buy a splitter? Will speed decrease? What should I do?

change install locations of all of your games to your hdd, if you don't have one, then get one as soon as you can

also try settings your downloads, pictures, videoes, music and documents libraries to somewhere on your 2nd drive, I donwload a lot of stuff and if i put it all on my drive it would be full probably 2 times over by now

Space sniffer.

How about moving some stuff to your hdd if you have one. There are also probably lots of temp files you don't need.

I am aware of that but I am also worried about deleting stuff or moving stuff that can hurt my pc

There's actually 4 sata ports on the motherboard. 2 are right-angle, and 2 are surface-mounted on the bottom right of the board.

When I was building my PC I was looking for them but couldn't locate more than 2, I will take another look tomorrow

i dunno if this is helpful but i edit videos and they take up a crap ton of room so if you edit/render videos or animations, go ahead and use something like handbrake to keep the resolution and shrink them from 34gbs to 24mbs (those numbers have happened to me before!)

hope it helps :D

you can safely move your steam games folder to your hard drive and set the install location to that drive and it should automatically detect that the games are already installed and won't need to do anything

as for your libraries such as music, pictures, etc, they can be moved without a problem and the library location can be changed

this is all you need to do as those 2 things take up most of the hard drive space

I usually install all my games on my hdd and all my programs such as chrome, steam, etc on my ssd
