Dial up info

So I successfully dial up, and I get a large sequence/strand of letters and numbers, then a ton of x's in a row, then nothing. Is there an issue here that's obvious? I  am using netzero

How is NetZero still around? I remember using them about 8 years ago, not good by 12 years ago's standards.

I don't pay, it's free. it's common knowledge.

 

I own Google fiber, I don't own the 200 usd adapter for the dreamcast to use bb. It uses dial up.

Interesting, I didn't know NetZero was free now. And I understand your situation better now, but the information you just provided (using dreamcast, etc) should have been in your first post, you would have gotten better responses if you had provided the full picture.

 

Your questions might be better answered on a dreamcast or retro gaming forum, because you are more likely to find people who have experience with what you are trying to do that way.
