1. Budget & Location

$3000 at the most but near $2000 Would be ideal, Virginia, US (near a microcenter)

2. Aim

Gaming mainly, just want to make a new computer with upgraded parts and a new challenge (i've been thinking heavily on water coooling this will only be my 2nd build and I am really worried about runing parts with water cooling (i'm also not big on overclocking either but I think with the lower temps from water cooling would give benefit to the lifetime of the parts as well plus no super loud fans as my 780sc blower type gets really loud when it hits above 75c.

3. Monitors

I have 3 right now 23.4" asus monitors 1080p but I will need a new monitor since I don't have a spare right now but I have been thinking about upgrading one to a 1440p and putting it in the middle with 2 1080ps on the side but I am not sure how that would look with a 1440p and two 1080p (mostly worried about distortion across the home screens and in games. (no I won't be using surround but I tried running my middle monitor in 2157x XXXX with the nvida res scale and it distorted my other two monitors when in full screen and make applications look funky.

4. Peripherals

New triple monitor stand, currently have a $40 cheapo one from china that does the job but there is a lot of sag and its annoying to adjust and its a desk clamp which I don't really like.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Simply because I want to really plus turn my old computer into a media/game hosting server.

6. Other Criteria/Reasoning

So I would like to water cool but I am not sure I am going to do it right away for two reasons budget and moving soon so I don't want to do the setup and then worry about it  when I move So I was thinking of getting the kraken as a cpu cooler and then I saw that there is an adapter that I can get to extend the kraken to go for the gpu. I don't know the pros/cons to this but I figured it would probably be cheaper than a full custom loop but wouldn't looks as cool.

This is my list of kind of a rough idea of what I want. The microcenter near me has the 6700k for $40 cheaper and if i buy the mobo there $70 cheaper as well since its 219 + $30 off when i buy a compatible mobo so few extra bucks saved. I'm not sure about the other prices though but I am looking around. I just really wanted some input on watercooling and which GPU to go for as I am not sure if I want to go with a single 1080 or sli 1070's. I am looking at the stormtrooper as a case since its a big case so lots of room for water cooling and good cable management and not too expensive right now plus a lot of expand ability and I like it, but if someone knows of a better case (i have been thinking about a really cool tempered glass one that would really showcase the goods but I haven't seen a decent prized full sized tower)

Hope I covered everything, look forward to getting some feedback, really enjoy the Linus community knowledge and advice thank you in for your help and time :)

Thanks for the feedback so far much appreciated.

x 62 and g3 don't have prices on partpicker for some reason but I did an edited list to have them on there but kept the original so i would still know where the price was.
