Upgrade over to intel?

most people say go i3 but if your going gaming only and dont want to upgrade from the starter pack i3 go for the fx-8300 but if you do feel like your going to upgrade from the i3-6100 then i would say intel so you can push into a i7, i5 not worth upgrading to go from i3 to i7-6700k better to save and then upgrade but thats my opinion. i am AMD pro right now but maybe wait till next year if you want to go AMD when theyre new systems come out with are the AMD Zen series which might be very good and the AMD fx-8300 will be more expensive that the i3 although you will get more performance.
