No problem!  I hope you can get it working, PC problems suck, especially after you've bought expensive components.

Alright, so I tried going to the dual graphics setting and nothing happened when I booted up my PC again and plugged the hdmi from the card to monitor. Still black screen.

Update you BIOS. My old Z77 - UD5H F7 bios would not recognize my g1 Gaming 970 until y updated to F14.

Just take the needed precautions. Don't try some random file from softonic Go to your manufacturer website and follow THEIR tutorial.

Agreed had a similar problem with my MSI P67 board and it worked just fine after updating.

If you are trying to adjust the graphics settings in the BIOS then change the setting on the integrated graphics. Once you save the changes shut the system down and then install the card. If neither the GPU or the onboard graphics work after this you should clear the CMOS. You can then go back in and try the dual setting and try again but I doubt that would make a difference.

You guys have been so helpful! I appreciate the help so much. Now, I tried to update bios but I'm 100% sure how to. I went to MSI and put in my mobo, etc. after mine came up I clicked it and went to "bios" i downloaded the top one which is from 2014 I guess, and now I don't know what to do. Thanks again guys.

Looks like you just need to extract the .ZIP file, and then run the application inside.

Alright so I downloaded the app for msi that I guess autodownloads bios updates. After updating, I shut down my computer and plugged the gpu in, and after booting up my PC still black screen. Am I just doing something stupid wrong? I firmly press my gpu into the pci-e slot then plug in the 6 pin connector. After that I plug the hdmi from monitor to the gpu, then boot up the PC. What am I doing wrong?

Just try letting it boot without the graphics card, there may be something you need to do in windows after installing a new bios.

I've never used this kind of bios installer, only the CD type, if they offer that I would burn one, and try that.  Otherwise google how to install it, I'm sorry I don't know how to install the bios that way :(

What do you mean CD? The gpu came with one, am I supposed to do something with that first?

If the GPU hasn't worked after flashing the BIOS then it may be time to contact Zotac directly to better address the issues you're having.

Sometimes the manufacturer will provide a disc image which you can make a bootable bios installer with, I am not sure MSI does that though.

So contact Zotac? Should I return the Gpu? I'm pretty worried rn because I already returned one faulty gpu this past week.

Not necessarily return, see if you can talk to anyone there that might be able to help you. Have your motherboard model handy. Since they made the card they would be more capable of helping you and should have a little more knowledge about what boards it works with.

Contact Zotac and MSI, and ask them if they can help.

How should I contact them?

There is a section with a phone number and business hours that you can call in. There is also a section where you can send an email asking for help as well. Either of those should help put you in contact with someone.
