Q6600 Overclocking

I am thinking about building a pc with a q6600, and i was wondering if there is a specific chipset you need to overclock???

I have seen some x38 motherboards are they the only ones that can oc?

I'd go with P35 or P45 myself. If you can get your hands on an a Pro or Deluxe version of Asus P5K/P5Q you'll be set.  Or anything with the words DFI and Lanparty on it.

p35, x38,p45 and x48 are the best overclocking boards for 775  

 

P35 and p45 can be modded to support socket 771 xeons too
