Needing help with upgrade

Hi all ,

 

Since I got my old I5-3470 CPU , I wanna upgrade my system to the new Skylake CPU's.

Since my knowledge is far off atm. I'll be needing your help.

 

This is what I had in mind.

Please know that my buildup is a white setup. So some components will be white offcourse.

 

Let me know about my choice.

 

SSD & GFX are not needed since I already got my MSI RX480 & Samsung EVO 840 250GB

Was doubting about the I7-6700K but it is for gaming. So I don't think its worth the many for an upgrade.

the i7 would be better if money isnt that much of a deal. If it matters i dont think it will be such a good investment

little bit OC'ing the 6600K and I think it will be a good futureproof CPU

Make sure you have a CPU cooler, 16GB of ram is not needed for gaming currently. If more games in the future require more than 8GB you can add more if your MOBO has 4 slots.

my CPU cooler will be the Corsair Cooling Hydro H100i V2 .

 

Can't find anything white in the AIO watercooling sets
