Bigger powersupply?

Currently I have a GTX 1080 and I honestly love power and I'm getting a second in the near future but I wanted to make sure I have enough power and I'm sure a 1000 watt I have is good right now but maybe something more if needed. I'm off and on in this tech world.   I was also wondering where I could purchase additional connecters since I do not have an extra 2x8 connecter from of course GPU to the Power supply, any idea where I can try to find them, I've looked all over and I can't seem to find them.  any help is appreciated

1000 watt psu should be more than enough! If the PSU doesn't have the connectors, its not meant to be connected. What PSU is it?

I would expect a 1000W to have at least 6 x 6+2 pcie connectors. If yours doesn't have enough for a 2nd gpu then it sounds sketchy as heck.

its at 850W full modular EVGA if that helps.

you could buy extra cables from cablemod, but i'm not sure that is what you need.
you could use molex to 8pin or any other connector to 8pin converters instead if your PSU doesn't have the appropriate 8pin slots.

I looked through my box and I had don't see any. currently on my GPU I have 2 4 pin power it and no actual 8 pins.
