Fan Control Software?

7 minutes ago, wrathoftheturkey said:

You usually can't control fan speed from the OS can you? Besides CPU and GPU I'm pretty sure it's automatic?

If you can, I've heard good things about SpeedFan

It's automatic, I just want software to where I can manually set it.

MSI Afterburner

MSI Afterburner only controls GPU fans.

Does it really? The PC I am using is loud with the 1 case fan I have.

I've been using it for years, and never found any option to control other fans.

Well shit. I am keeping it %100 speed tho

This is what happens when I change the fan speed to 60%. Bear in mind that my 970 is the card that's selected. My second GPU(560 Ti) remains unaffected

I can't use Speedfan or MSI Afterburner.

Any other good ones??

I'm not sure that you'll even be able to control the fan(s). What laptop are you using?

Alienware 15 R3

It's in my signature

Try using Alienware Command Center:

Bear in mind that this is a direct download link if you don't already have it installed: http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03882773M/6/App_DT_AWCC4.7.7.0_W10_Setup_8D5GP_ZPE.exe

I know. But Alienware is over priced. You can get a desktop that easily runs 4K for a Alienware laptop.

Let's stick to figuring this out, and not arguing about Alienware.
