Desktop microphone help

I was looking to get a decent microphone for sqype, teamspeak and recording guitar and youtube gaming. What desktop would you suggest? also what is the difference between the snowball and the snowball ice because the snowball looks like its specs are better but the ice is more expensive??

I'd get a snowball. Apparently good for music recording as well as everything else

I have a blue Yeti. I absolutely love it. I do Voice Over as well. Everyone in vent/skype/teamspeak tells me it sounds like they are talking to me in person.

There Is also the Blue Nessie. It is a 100$ mic. Remember you get what you pay for.

I actually use an Olympus ME-52W which I got for around $15. It's not the most featured mic or the highest end mic, but it actually is really surprisingly good for it's price. It really does noise cancel everything, my computers PSU has a broken fan that I have yet to fix that makes a loud clicking noise that the mic doesnt even pick up. All in all I use it for skype, gaming, and some voice recording I do off to the side. With $15 I bought it just thinking, what could go wrong? And everything went right, It's a inexpensive little mic that goes great with a nice pair of headphones.
