An i5 would be a good option, unless you render videos often, where an i7 could be useful.

I am looking into building a pc with a 1060 and 8gb of ram and am unsure of what cpu to pick, i want to be able to render videos from sony movie studio and do some gaming (CSGO, LOL, Goat Sim, Rocket Leauge, any future titles)
