Nope, chrome keeps giving me the error "err_proxy_connection_failed"

  • Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings... > Under Network, Change proxy settings... > click on LAN Settings and uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN."

So, I'm going to sound like a fool but, my computer is displaying "not connected to internet or server" messages on things like Chrome, and even Steam, even though I can talk to friends and play some games. I've tried rebooting, calling my ISP, and even switching out Ethernet cables.

Any help?

There is a simple solution for this issue of not able to get connected inspite of having connection: Goto Run:c:\temp . Here you have to delete all the files/folders that present in this temp folder.(don't leave any single file/folder) in this directory. Now, disconnect that internet connection which is annoying you.. press refresh of F5 on the desktop screen and then try to connect to that internet connection back

If you resolve the issue with this resolution, pls leave a thanks giving feedback on board

I will be glad to know if my resolution is useful for others.. Thank you...
