Lenovo Y700-15ACZ RAM Under clocked

Hello! I have a Lenovo Y700 15ACZ Gaming Laptop with 8GB DDR3 RAM that I recently upgraded to 12GB DDR3. A few months before I upgraded (when I check task manager) it reports that my RAM speed is 800 MHz i instead of the 1600 MHz speed advertised! So, I thought upgrading the RAM, as I said, would fix the issue. BUT it didn 't. So, what I just want to know is, if my RAM is underclocked does that mean my computer is dying? I'm perfectly fine with the underclocked speed, as it doesn't affect my gaming performance. I just want to put an end to this mystery, though. So, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks! (Sorry for asking so many questions lately)

DDR means Double Data Rate, so 800 x 2 is 1600mhz. so it is 1600mhz.

my ram is running 802Mhz, its normal.
