USB Hub

I have been thinking about getting a USB hub(which I need) but then I came across this: http://xtrfy.com/product/xg-b1-led/. I was just wondering if a mouse, headset and maybe a thumbdrive would still work at the same time in that hub. I have heard about cases where hubs cut out when to many things are plugged in to it so I want to be sure before buying.
