Hi everyone :)

I installed an RX 480 yesterday and have gotten much better performance compared to my old HD 7870, however, In games like ARMA 3 and Planetside 2 and other CPU heavy games, my AMD A8-5600K is a severe bottleneck so I'm looking to upgrade it. I was looking at spending about £400-£450 (roughly $450-500), and I'm pretty much only looking at Intel CPUs due to the poor AMD CPU optimisations in ARMA.

Here's what I'm currently looking at:

- Intel i5 6500

- Asus Z170 Pro

- Corsair LPX 2x4GB DDR4

What are your thoughts? Can I do better for less?

go for a h170 board or an asus z170-a(if u plan to get an unlocked cpu in the near future) if not a h170(if you want raid) or a b150 board will do you just fine with no performance penalty. imo just get this board or similar http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5491#ov
