I juts got a cpu header Extender for my $500 Gaming PC and when I turn it on I get fans (all fans) including GPU  and CPU and Case fans but No beeps I have triple checked my wiring and I think my Cpu header on my motherboard is fried the link for my CPU Header (Extender) is http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/8-Pin-CPU-to-8-Pin-CPU-4-Pin-Extender-Cable-/281985279916?hash=item41a7a1e7ac:g:RDYAAOSwxp9W-y5U Is my Motherboard Cpu header fried? I get the thing on my TV saying I have a device connected in HDMI 4 but when I go on it nothing happens no signal I have connected a keyboard and Ive tested the HDMI cable. Please help this is my first PC Build btw motherboard is INTEL DH55TC cpu is INTEL 750 PSU is a Gamemax 600EC0 if you dont help I will be forced to buy a new mobo and if the cpu header is fried is there a way I can buy a new one I have a soldering tool. and If I cant give me suggestions for LGA 1156 Motherboards under $100 on Ebay ebay.com.au

I would stay away from these CPU power adapter splitter things. I had a molex to 4-pin CPU adapter before and it literally caught fire at some point when the system was off. Thank god I already took that system out of service and was parting it out when I discovered the damage. Would've had a major fire if I powered that thing on again.

Thats my only choice ): Gpu is too big. MSI RADEON R9 270
