Hi Guys, i recently manage to purchase a HyperX Cloud Core as my very first headphone.
However, I'm currently facing a dilemma, whether to refund it for 80% of it's purchased price or continue using and getting used to it as the cloud core starts to "heat up" my ear in about 30 mins of usage, which is uncomfortable for me. I have to regularly remove my headphone to allow my ears to cool down.

Audio wise,I can't really feel any difference between the cloud core and an average earbud (the standard issue from my samsung note 4 for reference), but that could because I'm a scrub for such thing.

As such, I would like to gather some opinions before deciding on my next course of action.
*As of the timing of writing, I have another 5 days before I'm ineligible for a refund.*

Best regards!

After much considerations, I've decided to refund my Cloud core.
Thank you all for the inputs!

First of all it's a matter of getting used to. You might experience this with another pair of headphones if you aren't used to wearing headphones AT ALL... just needed to stress that point but yes, comfort is number 1. I would refund it. I actually don't like the HyperX series of headphones lol

I consulted my friends and that's what they mention too.
I've till the weekends to get it returned so i suppose in the meantime i could try to use to it tho.

Haha don't push it till it's too near the deadline. Headphones have different clamping feels from one product to another so yeah... it might just take some time to break in..sorta like buying a new pair of shoes.
