OCing my 3930k

so currently i have it overclocked to 4.7GHz it gets no higher than 85C (nepton 140Xl)

volatages 

according to NZXT cam is 1.27v , according to cpu-z its 1.384v 

BCLK 130.7

multiplier 36

motherboard P9X79 pro

CX750M

pulls around 170w according to aida 64

 

cinebench score is 1200

will it be safe to keep at this frequency?

What voltage did you set in bios?

But why though ?  Your  cpu has an unlocked multipler ,  why not use that ? 

Bclock overclocking can cause all sorts of stability problems . . .

Why not set it to its default 100 and tweak the ratio to ~47 instead ?

ok, well i do that and shall report back shortly, thank you for your advice, it seems a 100 BCLK and multiplyer 47 it requires more voltage around 1.450v rather than 1.384v :/

well in that case make sure that you are stable with 130 Bclock and if you are use that instead.

not at all. the 125 strap is like running 100bclk. how is 100 more stable?

i am stable with the 130.7 BCLK runs a dream :)
