You always pay more for  premium looks and some extra functionality. There are always people that fall for it and spend the dosh, while not needing it...

If you're looking for price/performance ,  you aren't buying an rog board anyway

You cannot realy compair those 2 boards, because they are at a totaly diffrent quality level.

Also totaly diffrent level on feutures it comes with.

The Extreme Assembly editions comes with additional stuff like bluetooth and onboard excellent wifi, and a front panel dac amp.

And the VRM implementation is totaly diffrent aswell.
