Which PC part does the USB Killer ... Kill?

I've always wondered about this. Does it kill the CPU, motherboard, or everything?

 

Personally I think the motherboard.

It depends. Sometimes it can kill the motherboard. On well protected USB ports, it can kill the data portion of the port.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
