HDD to new computer

So I have a hdd with stuff on it and I wonder if there will be any problems if i connect it to a new computer that has a ssd with windows on it.

If i connect the hdd to the computer will it then boot upp with all the stuff from the old hdd or do I have to delete everything from that hdd before putting it in.
