SSD not visible

Darr

Hello,

I recently got an extra ssd that I wanted to use as a storage device. The SSD had windows 7 installed on it but I didnt know how to delete it. A friend told me to go to the disk management and delete the drive empty and make it from there, when I did that the SSD did not show up anymore. I tried to rescan for drives, remove it and plug it back in and try a different SATA port. I have no clue how to fix this. If anyone could give me some advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Look in Control panel -> Storage spaces

If you can't see it in there, take a look in the BIOS.

What's done is done though. Does it show up in the BIOS?

It does show up in the bios but not in storage spaces. Any advice on what I can do?

Sorry, I really can't think of anything else.

I'll do some searching...

It does not show up in disk management. I can only see it in the bios currently I think.
