Xbox One Controller for PC Problem

Hey guys,

 

I'm having an issue with my xbox one controller on my pc.

 

While playing fifa, after a few mins i hear a crackling sound and the game starts to lag badly.

 

After i disconnect the controller it works fine. Also I have been using the xbox 360 controller prior to switching to xbox one controller and never had such issue.

 

I have tried both usb and wireless connection for the xbox one controller and the problem still occurs.

 

All the drivers are up to date as well.

 

Any thoughts?

Does it happen with just fifa? if so it might just be worth giving the game a reinstall and seeing if it makes any difference. A while ago my controller didnt connect to fifa16 and a reinstall solved it.
