Why are Intel 730s so expensive?

730 is far from the greatest OR newest . that title belongs to the 750 series or the 600p series...

The OG System: I3-2370M @ 2.4 GHz, 750GB 5400 RPM HDD, 8GB RAM @1333Mhz, Lenovo Z580 Laptop (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).

 

Peripherals: G602, AKG 240, Sennheiser HD 6XX, Audio-Technica 2500, Oneplus 5T, Odroid C2(NAS).

The 730 is a better drive; marginally faster, etc. In real world performance you won't notice a difference.

Intel hasn't really dropped prices on their old shit like the 730, I wouldn't get one honestly.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

Look for a 1TB Crucial MX300. It's a bit better (won't notice the difference) and should be cheaper by quite a bit.
